Warning: “For the Grown and Cake Lovers Only” 18 & older!
Before you can bake this cake you must know your oven well… chemistry counts! You must prep your ingredients while measure correctly. We do not want anything less or nothing over! This needs to be perfect, so let go of the jitters and be confidant. You need to get it right!
Dry ingredients should be strained before you combine them to the wet ingredients. Can you prevent my cake from being under or overdone? Ensure your oven rack is on the correct shelf (usually it is best on the middle) for even baking.
Prepare your equipment…
Preheat your oven for at least 20 minutes to receive the cake.
Your oven should be hot to make the cake rise. If you do not preheat the oven you run the risk of ruining the recipe. Now get that that batter! Get a big enough pan; it should not be too small or big. The pan size should be the perfect size to fit all the cake batter in it. Grease your pan, line it well! Cover that pan . Your pan should be well greased and covered with flour. Protection of your pain is very important to prevent the cake from sticking to the pan. Fill your pan 2/3 full with cake batter, open the oven…
Let’s Bake! Close the door, TENDERLY!!
This could cause premature releasing of the air bubbles in the cake during the baking process. Stick to the cooking time. Halfway through rotate your cake 180 degrees. Bake it evenly! Once your time is up and the cake has risen. Insert your wooden stick directly into the center of the warm cake and pull it out. If your stick does not come out clean- your cake is not ready. Put it back in quickly! If your stick comes out clean- your cake is done and you can remove it from the oven.
Give your cake a cool down!
Cool your cake on a wire rack for about 20-30 minutes. After your cake is cool invert the pan and gently tap that cake on the sides to release the cake.
Now … “Finish the cake”! Decorate your cake to your liking and enjoy your sweet victory!
