Mind boggling how you are the perfect combo of intoxicating sweet and sour! Please do not  stop. Your sweet juiciness keep me wanting more and more until you are gone. Although, you can be a bit overwhelming but whenever you are done correctly – you get it right every time! Perfectly combining your sour nature with a touch of sweetness … one taste and OH, my taste buds are doing a happy dance!” My own personal “Now & Later“- I savor every bite as if it was my last time to have a piece of you. I have to have you right now…

So let’s do this and make some sweet, sour , sugar fun!!! As anticipation is growing and I want to get to going….

Gather your tools! Get the corn syrup, apples, sugar, water, candy thermometer, food coloring, and extract! Let’s get sticky and have some fun doing it!

Before you can touch anything in here, please wash your hands before entering my room. Now that you are all cleaned up let’s get started….

Prepare  your apples- wash and dry them ( I usually let them air dry over night). Once you have clean dry apples, insert your craft stick in to the middle of the apples.

Time to heat things up! Grab your pan – combine water, corn syrup, and sugar and bring it to a boil. Rising the temperature until the mixture is 300 to 310 degrees F (149 to 154 degrees C); or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle threads. Stirring the mixture is not necessary.  Remove from heat and NOW stir in food coloring and /or flavors infusions.

Finally, once the apples have cooled down you get to enjoy your sweet candy apple.
